When/how do I pay?

 

Your purchase can be completed upon "Store Pick-up" at Making Waves Utila.

 

We accept payments in cash or bank transfers (to Banco Atlantida) in both Lempiras and US dollars.

 

Further details will be included in the confirmation email. (Be sure to check your spam folder).

How long does it take to recieve/pick-up my order?

Most orders are ready the same day! We aim to fulfill orders within a few hours during business hours. Occassionally, it might take until the next business day - we will notify you on when the order is expected to be fulfilled and ready for pick-up. â€‹

How do I get/ receive my products?

What if the item I want is out of stock?

How do I pre-order?

Contact us with your request & we will get back to you with confirmation if the product is available for pre-order. The full payment is required only after the availability of the product is confirmed.

Once the availability of your product is confirmed, the full payment will be collected, and your order will be processed.

​

We strive to fulfill pre-orders on a monthly basis. Pre-orders close on the first Monday of each month and we do our best to have your order available for pickup within 7 business days.

What if I am interested in a product that is not on the shop page?​

Feel free to contact us with your request! We'll do our best to bring it in for you.

What if I don't like my product?

We stand behind the quality of all our products! If you're not completely satisfied, we're happy to offer a product exchange (no cash refunds).

 

To qualify for an exchange:

-The item must be a retail product purchased from our shop.

-It must be only slightly used (we can't accept empty bottles or heavily used items)

-Exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving your purchase.

 

Please note:

-All sales are final on clearance items, specially priced sale items, and all tools (including brushes, hot irons, hair dryers, and other styling tools).

What if the salon is closed - can I still shop online?

 

Yes, you sure can! Even when the salon is closed for a little while (like if we're away or out of the country), our online shop is still open and taking orders. If we're unable to fulfill orders for a short time, you'll see a notice on the shop page with the dates and details.​
